East Garforth's Got Talent
East Garforth HAS Got Talent!
What
a fantastic evening, pulses were racing at East Garforth Primary
School on 8th July as contestants lined up to take part in the
school’s first ever talent show, East Garforth’s Got Talent. More
than 20 acts took part in the evening and the audience enjoyed a
spectacular show with magicians, musicians, dancers and vocalists.
1st prize went to Sweet & Spicy also known as Imogen B and Leah S, who will perform their act in front of a huge audience at the I Love West Leeds Festival on 18th July at the Market Square, Pudsey from 12-2pm. 2nd Prize went to vocalist Alice H who wins a day in a recording studio courtesy of Ross Halden, Ghost Town Recordings and 3rd Prize was won by James E on his guitar who wins a place at Rock School during the summer holidays. Parents may obtain original high resolution copies (including full names on certificates) of photos featuring their children by following this procedure:
1. Download the file containing low resolution thumbnail versions of all (more than 100) "East Garforth's Got Talent" photos by clicking here.
2. From the thumbnail pictures, identify the photo(s) required by the four digit number in the filename. eg 1609
3. Either personally bring into school (or send with your child) your email address together with a note stating the photo(s)
requested.
4. Photos will then be sent to the email address. (Please note that the original photos are large files (356MB in total). Requesting too many will probably result in them being rejected by your ISP.)
Details must be submitted in person / via your chid to ensure that the person making the request has a legitimate interest. Requests made by email will not be considered.
Summer Fair
The Summer Fair was held on the 25th June and was a great success. We had glorious weather and a fantastic time was had by all. Thanks to all staff, parents/carers who helped on the evening and watch this space to see how much we raised.
