Stage 1 have been learning a topic called ‘Knowing me,
Knowing you.’ To make learning fun and interesting, they
went to the Thackray Medical Museum.
This trip was brilliant, as it covered all the things they had been learning in their topic. The visit took them back in time to the 1840s. This gave them a sense of what conditions were like for people in those days.
The children loved the experience, although they didn’t feel the same about the horrible smells! They were happy that things have rapidly changed since then. The children had a great time and are already asking when they can go again.
